Your Shadow contains the aspects of your nature that you’ve suppressed. Anything that annoys, disgusts, or horrifies you about yourself or others is part of your Shadow.
Our Shadow is the part of ourselves that we try to hide, ignore, or run away from. We do this as an attempt to uphold the illusion of having it all together. But attempting to outrun one’s own Shadow is futile—and eventually, it just brings about more pain and suffering.
